This adapter board works with some Tait commercial radios that utilize a DB15 female
option connector.
It converts the radio's 15 pin accessory (option) jack to Mini-DIN-6 female.
Then connection to a RA or DRA with a Mini-DIN-6 is basically Plug & Play.
Uses an inexpensive pre-made cable, available separately.
It works with AllStar Link providing two squelch logic signals to the MD6
connector.
These functions are enabled / disabled with a mechanical jumpers - no soldering required.
A 3-pin header selects between 1200 and 9600 receive audio.
A 2-pin header enables / disables COS logic.
A 3-pin header configuires the adapter for TX/RX or RX only.

Description:
This connector adapter attaches to SOME Tait radios that have a DB15
accessory (option) jack like the TM-8105. It converts the DB15 female option jack to Mini-DIN-6 female,
allowing an inexpensive Mini-DIN-6 male-to-male cable to be used between the radio and RA/DRA.
The DB15 male connector has high quality gold plated contacts.

Our DRAC-12 and DIN6-Shortie Cables are compatible
with this adapter board, and easily connect to RAs and DRAs with a Mini-DIN-6 Radio Connector.
Consider the DRA-50M for digital, or our RA-47M or RA-37M for AllStar Link. The RA-64M accepts
two radios to make a repeater.
This adapter connects both 1200 (Speaker) and 9600 (Discriminator) receive audio to separate pins on the Mini-DIN-6 connector under the industry standard pinout. The TXA Pin selection is done by the TXA Select header on this board. RX baud selection is done on the RA / DRA. No Soldering Required!
This adapter provides the carrier squelch signal (COS) and separately the CTCSS (PL) logic signal when used with the RA-64M. It is compatible with AllStar Link or any protocol that requires knowing the status of the receiver (squelched / unsquelched / PL. Proper programming of the radio is required.
The board simply plugs in and is secured with two 4-40 screws (supplied).
